There are many entries for a Thomas Trotman in the IGI, this may well be a composite of at least two separate Thomas Trotmans. One born some time between 1532 and 1546 (a 14 year range) to John & Joan, the other born on the 17th of October 1560 at Alderley. It is also possible that Thomas and Johan had more than one child named Thomas, if the earlier children died in infancy.
