Free BMD has a record of a marriage for Thomas Millington in the first quarter of 1838 in the district of Wem, which includes Whitchurch and Prees (Wem, 18 ,219). I obtained the wedding certificate, which shows that Thomas Millington, labourer married Elizabeth Mathews, daughter of labourer on the 25th of January 1838. The marriage was at the parish church of Prees, Shropshire. Their father's were both labourers William Millington and Thomas Matthews, witnesses were William Millington and William Drury.
