There is a record of John ELEY BB son of Mary Ann EELEY bapt 22.4.1846 in Preston Bisset [taken from Microfilm of the Parish Records held at the Local Studies in Aylesbury Bucks].

The 1851 census has John Eeley age 5 living with his Grandparents in Preston Bisset but no sign of his mother.

The 1881 British Census show John Eely, 32 a Coal Miner, born in Preston. From the earlier records was born in Preston Bissett and aged 35!
