In 1861John Davies(2) is 36, living at Castle Gates Shrewsbury, he is a Saddler and Harnesmaker, place of birth is listed as Knockin Salop, his wife is Mary also 36, born in Gillsfield(?) Montgomery.
With them are children: Joseph B, 15; Margaret E, 13; Christiana, 5; George T, 3; and Emma, 1.
Plus John Davies's(2) father John Davies(1) now 78 a widower and retired farmer, born in Kinnerley, Shropshire, and
Henry Nagle, a boarder aged 46 and a travelling clerk born in London, Middlesex.
The children were born in West Felton Shropshire, except for the last two who were born in St. Mary (Shrewsbury).
